Saudi Arabia took a significant step forward in cultural education with the inauguration of the College of Arts at King Saud University in Riyadh. This milestone, a joint initiative of the Ministry of Culture and the university, represents the Kingdom’s first dedicated institution for arts education.

The inauguration ceremony, held at the university’s theater, saw the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Deputy Minister of Culture Hamed Fayez and University President Dr. Badran Al-Omar, alongside cultural enthusiasts from across Saudi Arabia. Deputy Minister Fayez emphasized the strategic importance of the College of Arts, highlighting its role in advancing cultural growth and development within the framework of Vision 2030.

The launch of the College of Arts underscores the commitment of Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan, the Minister of Culture, to prioritize education as a cornerstone of cultural development.
