Iraq exports 217,000 barrels per day to US in one week

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday that Iraq’s oil exports to the United States rose last week.

The EIA mentioned that the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from nine major countries reached approximately 5.63 million barrels per day, an increase of 235,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, where US oil imports reached around 5.4 million barrels per day, Shafaq News reported.

Iraq’s oil exports to the United States reached 217,000 barrels per day last week, an increase of 22,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, when Iraq exported 195,000 barrels per day.

The EIA indicated that most of the United States imports of crude oil during the past week came from Canada at an average of 3.8 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico with an average of 417,000 barrels per day and Saudi Arabia with an average of 239,000 barrels per day.

The United States imported an average of 226,000 barrels per day from Colombia, 217,000 barrels per day from Brazil, 170,000 barrels per day from Nigeria, 162,000 barrels per day from Ecuador, and 44,000 barrels per day from Libya.
