Iraq has prepared to introduce a bill to safeguard Saudi-Iraqi investments and discuss it before Parliament in preparation for its adoption in the coming months.

The new legislation is expected to boost economic cooperation between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

This was revealed during a meeting between the President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Hassan Al-Huwaizi, and the Chairman of the Iraqi-Saudi Friendship Committee in the Iraqi Parliament, Shalan Abdul-Jabbar Al-Karim, and his accompanying delegation during an official visit to Saudi Arabia.
