Saudi Arabia has unequivocally conveyed to the United States its stance on establishing diplomatic relations with Israel, firmly asserting that such ties will not materialize without substantial progress on the Palestinian issue.

The Kingdom has articulated its demand for the recognition of an independent Palestinian state within the borders of 1967, with East Jerusalem designated as its capital. Additionally, Saudi Arabia has called for an end to Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip and emphasized the withdrawal of all Israeli occupation forces from the enclave as a prerequisite for any prospective diplomatic engagement with Israel.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its unwavering position on the Palestinian matter, highlighting the imperative nature of the Palestinian people securing their legitimate rights. This announcement gains significance amidst ongoing deliberations between Saudi Arabia and the US regarding the Arab-Israeli peace process, a fact accentuated by recent remarks from the spokesperson for the US National Security Council.
