Tokyo: An 80 years old Japanese businessman Satoru Anzaki (former president of machinery giant Komatsu was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer in October) threw a party declaring it as “End of life” party. According to the source, Satora, having been diagnosed with terminal cancer, called all of his family members to say thanks to them.

On December 12, 2017 Mr. Satora invited nearly 1,000 guests including friends, former school mates, business partners and employees to Monday’s event and organized a huge party to say thank you and goodbye.

The old man announced the party on 20th November, 2017 when fatal disease was diagnosed; the news went viral on social media complementing his bold move.

People mocked at him and posted funny comments and they thought that he might kidding, so they applied for invitation to see what would happen.

The old man said during press conference, “I am satisfied that I could say ‘thank you’ to people I met in life,

“As I want to maximize the quality of life during the time I have left, I have decided not to receive treatment given the side effects.”

He rented a venue in a Tokyo hotel, decorated with memories of his life, he invited a group of dancers put on dance performance from his home prefecture of Tokushima.

One of the guest said, “It was a very fun event.”

The old man said, “I am also suffering from an illness so it got me thinking how I want live the rest of my life.”

State official media gave a live coverage to his so called End life party and appreciated him.
