Bronx, New York- Indeed one does not need eyes to see the world imploding from within. One does not need ears to hear constant drumbeats of divisive rhetoric from our evil-touched decision-makers leading us straight to self-destructions. One does not need a heart to feel the pain of hatred and widening socioeconomic gaps. Nor does one needs a functioning brain to know the extreme evilness of it and the silence of the majority.
Today, every continent and almost each nation is dealing with some forms of self-inflicting violence or another. This is the result of injustice, inequity as well as divisive and hatred preaching from our religious and political leaders and scholars.
To our intelligent and law enforcement communities, please be cognizant of the fact that at present time when perpetrators do not value life and sacredness of certain venues we hold dearly, sophisticated arms and trainings is not the most effective prevention, genuine love and equal justice are. Therefore stop wasting valuable resources in reacting to violence and start investing our public resources equitably in our neglected neighborhoods and citizens.
Furthermore, the trending concentration of global resources in the hands of a tiny fraction of families in the expense of over ninety (90) percent of hardworking patriots is the greatest human injustice in this generation and will eventually lead us to what seems to be inevitable use of weapons of mass destruction and World War Three.
We know that all atrocities including the recent ones in Egypt, Nigeria, Somalia, Las Vegas, France, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, etc…, is the result of our tolerance to injustice and normalization of hatred. We therefore strongly demand a moment of ‘leadership introspection and transformation’ before it’s too late. None of what is happening is inevitable!
FINALLY, WE ARE OFFERING OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO THE VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE THE WORLD OVER. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
