“Her premature arrival was unexpected-her parents were at the theatre, but were obliged to leave their box hurriedly.”

Later Mr.Jinnah disowned her daughter because she got married to an industrialist Parsi man Neville Wadia, by making an excuse that her mother who was also Parsi accepted Islam and got married to a Muslim man.

According to Jinnah’s will, she was not allowed to enter Pakistan but she came twice to Pakistan, once in 1948 to attend her father’s funeral and later in 2004 in Lahore to attend a cricket match.

Omer Qureshi wrote, “Ironic that Jinnah’s only child Dina Wadia who passed away at the age of 98, never lived in a country he created-visited once in 2004 with her grandchildren.”
