By Karachi: A 26 years old Hindu woman was burnt by her husband on Friday October 6, 2017 who passed away on October 8, 2017 in Gharo Sindh southern province of Pakistan, according to Duniya TV channel, a lady was burnt by her drunken husband.
It has been told by the police that her husband was arrested on that following day.
Witnesses told that the man was using drugs, one day when he came to the house he sprayed oil over his wife’s body and burnt her.
According to Civil Hospital Karachi, doctor told that when the woman was brought to the hospital by relatives, she was 98% burnt.
The Husband told that it was an accident; he was not in his consciousness. He said, “I took her to the hospital for treatment on the same day, I was smoking. I don’t know that she applied hair oil.
“I even don’t recall what happened exactly.
“I never abuse and beat her. That accident occurred in my own bedroom. I was surprised to see the fire and she was burning in front of me.”
But witnesses told that the woman had been subjected to physical abuse over the past four months.
He abused her and beat her “for giving birth to a girl”.
Police recorded all the statement and on Monday they would present the criminal in the court.
