SOUTH AFRICA/ETHIOPIA- President Zuma, according to reports from the Presidency, will on Saturday, 22nd of July, address the Launch of the Truman Magubane Family Foundation. The Foundation is reportedly named after its founder and Grand Patron, Mr Truman Magubane, which caters and support underprivileged children particularly in the fields of education, leadership training, cultural activities and sports in uMsunduzi and surrounding areas in KwaZulu-Natal.

According to information gathered, Mr Magubane was a Chief Whip in Msunduzi Local Municipality, in his time,  and one of the most respected struggle stalwarts and a former Robben Island prisoner, who is well known for his noble and fearless leadership he displayed during the liberation struggle and has also made an enormous contribution in the development of the country since the dawn of democracy.

The event, as planned by organizers is billed to take place at the Pietermaritzburg City Hall, Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa at around 16h00.

Meanwhile, as this event roll out in South Africa, members of the general public are also being invited to the launch of the Ethiopian Livestock Identification and Traceability System, organised by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries.

This is slated to hold on Tuesday, 25th of July at Capital Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The system, according to explanation in the press release from the U.S. Embassy Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, will help to gather information regarding the source/origin of the animal, type of husbandry, and management system in place to support improved quality for consumers and increased incomes of farmers.
