Off to work or to school, that is where we were in our previous article. We will put the missing pieces of the day together and finish it in this article today, insha Allah.

Time passes so fast and with every passing minute, part of you passes with it. But glad tidings to those whose intentions are to please their Lord with every act they do; business or praying, working or serving ones parents.
I am assuming that you have reached your place of work or your school and social settings are sometimes hard to help you sustain a momentum of a life that is clean from the bad habits and acts that take part in the process of veiling one’s heart.

1. Remain fasting from this
Foul talks, talking behind the backs of others and not minding what you are wasting your time with. After all, Ramadan is all about what you do after it leaves. You have the strength to fast from the good and the permissible things, don’t you think that dealing with the bad stuff will be easier for you than ever after Ramadan, in sha Allah? Fast from this and watch the blessings that will unfold in front of your eyes.

2. Stick to a schedule and improve by the day
Knowing what you are doing ahead of time will definitely help you get a solid daily schedule that will pave the path for a good life, God willing.

3. Take care of your body
Any big task that you want to do will need a healthy body and mind. And healthy mind is in healthy body, don’t you think that is true? Don’t be the reason for your failure by not taking care of your body. Intend to worship your Lord by tending to the needs of your body. You will have the capacity to grow spiritually if your body is in good shape.

4. Wrap your day early and with a good note
There is no better mentor than the prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) and going to bed after the Isha prayers was not only his personally preferred way but he also encouraged his companions to get into sleep mood and cut all the talks after Isha so that they can have a good and bright next day, God willing.

Sleeping is a short term death and thus will need it’s full preparation, review your day and praise your Lord for the day He has blessed you with, send blessings to the prophet and following his sleeping etiquette. Intend to start a productive routine all over again and intend to improve yourself in every way possible if you get to wake up the next day. End your day with a good note.
Again, keeping up with the goodness you have been during Ramadan after the period of the month is over is a litmus for an accepted Ramadan.

May Allah accept all that we are doing for His sake from us, Ameen.
Wa salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah
