By the commandment from Allah (SW), it is incumbent upon all Muslims to stand up to global peace and justice by demanding from The custodian of Haramain, His Highness King Salman, to immediately cancel the Arms deal announced during President Trump’s trip there. Unfortunately this record-setting Arms deal between Saudi Arabia and United States would (in the eyes of the world) render the Holy land of Haramain a ‘Dar al-Harb’ away from ‘Dar as-Salam’.
And to make the matters even worst, these arms procurements are the dictation of weapons lobbyists’ for readying wars among Muslim nations, war between Iran and Saudi in particular.
“And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah’s favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.” 3:103
At this particular moment in history, no action is dearer to Allah (SW) then the complete cessation of the ongoing global conflicts, especially the conflicts in the Muslim World. “Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity.” 3:104
Following are supporting statements of Prophet Muhammad encouraging actions to prevent anticipating conflicts among Muslim nations.
- “Anyone of you who sees wrong, let him undo it with his hand; and if he cannot, then let him speak against it with his tongue, and if he cannot do this either, then (let him abhor it) with his heart, and this is the least of faith.”
- “What actions are most excellent? To gladden the heart of a human being, to feed the hungry, to help the afflicted, to lighten the sorrow of the sorrowful, and to remove the wrongs of the injured.”
- “Do you know what is better than charity, fasting and prayer? It is keeping peace and good relations between people, as quarrels and bad feelings destroy mankind.”
- “Faith is a restraint against all violence, let no Mu’min commit violence. The proud will not enter paradise, nor a violent speaker.”
Plan of Action:
This shockingly disappointed record-setting Arms deal left us no option but to coordinate massive public outcry in order to prevent more conflicts among Middle Eastern nations. Therefore our first public demonstration against this weapons deal and their expected use on Iran will be held on the second Friday of the Month of Ramadan in front of the Mission of Saudi Arabia at: 809 United Nations Plaza #10, New York, NY 10017
