By Assalamu Alaikum my Muslim Friends:
Unfortunately, as horrendous as it has been seeing the Middle Eastern nations burning to the grown, and the Muslim world at large for that matter, there will not be remedy without a unity. It is so shameful to watch the same people who professed to be descendants of the messengers of God and yet so barbaric towards each other. How could they ever be able to convince the rest of the world about anything while mercilessly slaughtering, raping and destroying each other and their precious resources?
Statement of unity from the Holy Quran:
“And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah’s favor on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.
Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity.
Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty”.
Statement of unity from the Prophet:
“Do you know what is better than charity and fasting and prayer? It is keeping peace and good relations between people, as quarrels and bad feelings destroy mankind.” (Muslims & Bukhari)
