The ghanian American high school senior from Long Island, N.Y., Kwasi Enin, who was accepted to all eight ivy league schools-Harvard, Yale, Brown, Columbia, University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth, Princeton and Cornell- this year made his decision on which one he will attend.

In a press conference on Wednesday he went on to announce his school of choice in the gymnasium at his high school, William Floyd High School, by stating,”I’m excited and proud to announce that this fall I’ll become a member of the Yale University class of 2018,” said Enin. His decision was based on his visit to the New Haven,Conn.campus. All of the universities offered him the same financial aid package.

Enin’s aim was to at least get into one or two of the schools when he applied to all of them. Imagine his surprise as he was accepted to all of them. He was very active in school playing the viola, participating in student government, played sports, and many more activities along with his excellent grades and 2250 SAT score made him a perfect candidate to be accepted to all of these universities. He even volunteers at the hospital too.

He will start his college career in the fall at Yale University and wants to be a doctor, but continue his passion for music too.

His parents, Ebenezer and Doreen Enin, immigrated to New York from Ghana in the 1980s to continue their education and pursue nursing.
