The Peace Corps and the Inter-American Foundation (IAF) have become the latest agencies to make detailed foreign assistance data available on the ForeignAssistance.gov website, bringing the total number of agencies to have published data to eight. This marks another significant step forward in the U.S. Government’s commitment to achieving greater transparency in foreign assistance spending.
Both Peace Corps and IAF’s obligation and spending data are available at the transaction level, which allows users to examine the data in greater detail. Site visitors can find the agencies’ profiles on the Foreign Assistance by Agency page to explore the detailed data.

The Inter-American Foundation (IAF), an independent foreign assistance agency of the United States Government, invests in citizen-led grassroots development initiatives throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. IAF grants foster economic opportunities, more secure communities, citizen participation in democracy and social inclusion while prioritizing the region’s most disadvantaged people. Since 1969, the IAF has awarded more than 5,100 grants valued at more than $700 million. Grantee partners contribute their own resources, report their results every six months and are audited annually.
