By As you may have seen in the media last week, the hateful Pastor Jones of Florida (Whose Bible reading has not yet reached to: 1 John 4:7-8, 1 John 3:15-16, John 13:34-35 and Mathew 7:1-29), and who leads one of the smallest churches in the state, cowardly burned a truckload of the Holy Bibles he thought were copies of the Holy Quran.
As a result of this anti-Christ behavior, Muslims all over the world have condemned his act of violating the sanctity of the Holy Bible. while burning holy books are not itself a crime, and can even be a noble deed if the intention is to prevent them from going to trash bins. Muslims are upset because contrary to what many people may believe about Islam, we are prohibited from discriminating among the holy books and prophets. See What Allah (SW) say about this:
قُلْ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ
Say: “We believe in God, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma’il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam).” Holy Quran 3:84.
Also another verse:
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالنَّصَارَىٰ وَالصَّابِئِينَ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Those who believe (in the Qur’an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. Holy Quran 2:62.
These are just two of many examples I can select from the Holy Quran that bind us together as one school of believers with different teachers. The difference has always been about the Godly conduct: an evil Christian is an evil person, so does an evil Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu…
