He pays tribute to the National Intelligence and Security Agency for being a key security instrument in the search for sustainable peace and security particularly in the fight against extremism in the country.

He said, ‘The National Intelligence and Security Agency  has played a significant role in fighting terrorists and its efforts are clearly bearing fruits. I therefore wish to reaffirm AMISOM’s continued commitment to working with NISA as Somalia moves to stabilize the country and rebuild its institutions.’
