Somali Disaster Management Agency launches disaster preparedness training program

The Somali National Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), led by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Ahmed Abdi Adan, has inaugurated a disaster preparedness and response training program.
Organized in partnership with Qatar Charity, the initiative represents a key step in fortifying Somalia’s resilience to natural and human-induced disasters.
The program is tailored to impart essential knowledge and skills in disaster risk management, aligning with international standards for disaster risk reduction.
