In the United Arab Emirates, Sharjah Police, in collaboration with the National Search and Rescue Centre of the National Guard, successfully rescued four citizens after their vehicle overturned in a sandy area in Wadi Qarha, Al Bataeh.

A helicopter was promptly dispatched, transporting one seriously injured individual to the nearest hospital for urgent medical care.

Meanwhile, the remaining injured, according to Khaleej Times, whose conditions ranged from minor to moderate, received first aid at the scene.

The National Guard’s ambulance service subsequently transferred them to nearby hospitals for further treatment and recovery.

The swift response highlights the efficiency of Sharjah Police and the National Guard in managing emergencies and ensuring public safety in the region.

Sharjah, the third-most populous city in the United Arab Emirates after Dubai and Abu Dhabi, serves as the capital of the Emirate of Sharjah. It is part of the bustling Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area and functions within the UAE’s federal framework.

While federal authorities handle overarching legal, political, and military matters, Sharjah maintains jurisdiction over key local services, such as civil law enforcement and facility management.
