Motorists in the UAE are advised to exercise caution today as the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued yellow and red fog alerts.
Dense fog, particularly in some areas of Abu Dhabi, is expected to persist until 9:30 a.m., reducing visibility significantly.
Early morning fog has been reported over Al Dhafra in Abu Dhabi. The NCM urges drivers to slow down and drive carefully to ensure safety during these conditions.
Despite the foggy start, the day is forecasted to be generally sunny and partly cloudy at times. Humidity is expected to increase tonight and into Monday morning, bringing another chance of fog or mist formation, especially in coastal and internal areas.
Temperature Forecast:
• Internal regions: 24–28°C
• Coastal areas and islands: 21–25°C
• Mountain regions: 15–20°C
Light to moderate winds will prevail, occasionally freshening to speeds of 10–20 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h.
The sea conditions are expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, posing no significant challenges for maritime activities.
Motorists are urged to stay updated on weather alerts and prioritize safety on the roads during these foggy conditions.
