UAE expands local terrorist list with 19 new additions
The UAE has added 19 individuals and entities to its Local Terrorist List due to their links with the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood organization, as reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM) on Wednesday.
This decision, enacted under Resolution No. 1 of 2025 issued by the UAE Cabinet, includes 11 individuals and eight entities. It reflects the nation’s commitment to combating terrorism and its financing, both locally and internationally.
The listed individuals and entities are accused of supporting terrorism directly or indirectly. The resolution mandates financial institutions and regulatory bodies to implement necessary measures in compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
