The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, has reiterated the organization’s strong condemnation of Israel’s recent military attacks on Iran, calling the strikes a grave threat to regional stability and security.

This position was made clear during a telephone conversation between Mr. Taha and Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Abbas Araqchi.

According to a statement from the OIC, the call centered on the escalating situation in the Middle East following what Tehran describes as unprovoked Israeli aggression.

The Secretary-General expressed his deep concern over the “serious implications” of the attacks and emphasized the need for restraint to prevent further destabilization of the region.

He stated unequivocally, “The OIC General Secretariat strongly condemns these aggressions and expresses its unwavering solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

The call underscores the OIC’s ongoing commitment to regional peace and its support for member states facing acts of external aggression.
