Six Palestinians killed in devastating airstrike on Gaza refugee camp
Six Palestinians were killed and three others were injured on Saturday evening after an Israeli airstrike leveled a residential home in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza.
Local reports confirmed that Israeli warplanes targeted the Abu Seif family’s home, turning it into rubble and scattering victims’ remains across the area.
Eyewitnesses described the horrific scene as rescue workers struggled to recover shattered bodies amidst the debris.
The injured, some in critical condition, were rushed to Al-Awda Hospital, which is already grappling with overwhelming casualties and a severe lack of medical supplies. The fatalities, many unrecognizable due to the force of the blast, were also taken to the hospital.
This attack is part of a relentless Israeli offensive on Gaza that has claimed over 44,176 lives and injured more than 104,473 Palestinians since October 2023. Thousands remain buried under rubble, inaccessible to rescue teams due to continuous airstrikes.
Despite global appeals for peace, including UN Security Council calls for a ceasefire and International Court of Justice directives to prevent genocide, the devastation continues unabated.
