Exclusive: False reports of snowfall in Masjid al Haram spark online reactions
Rumors of snowfall at Masjid Al Haram in Makkah circulated widely online, but these reports have been confirmed as entirely false.
Earlier, Inside the Haramain, one of the official pages of the Holy Mosque in Saudi Arabia shared a statement, refuting the alleged snowfall.
The statement reads: “The reports of snowfall in Masjid Al Haram, Makkah, are entirely untrue. It’s crucial to check facts from reliable sources, Such false information can spread quickly and cause unnecessary confusion. Always verify news from credible and reliable sources before sharing it.”

With misinformation spreading rapidly, Muslims are being urged to rely on verified sources to prevent unnecessary confusion.
Social media users expressed frustration over the false claims. Assan commented, “People will share anything they see on internet without verification! Thats a simple example how people will fall for dajjal.”
Usman Nasir Danlasan added, “Subhanallah, lies are everywhere, created just for small gains. May Allah guide our faith.”
Mohammad Shafi Dar shared a critical perspective on social media itself, stating, “This (so called ) Social Media has been created to spread falsehood and hatred particularly amongst Muslims who have had ( Alhumdullillah ) been Social till this Anti-social Media was floated by Anti-Islam people.”
