Two Israeli reservists lost their lives and three others were injured in Tuesday’s clashes between the Israeli military and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Maj. Aviram Hariv, 42, deputy commander of the Alon Brigade’s 9308th Battalion, was killed in southern Lebanon, while Master Sgt. Saar Eliad Navarsky, 27, of the 7338th “Adirim” Artillery Regiment’s 508th Battalion, fell victim to a rocket barrage in northern Israel.

The rocket barrage also seriously injured three other soldiers from the artillery battalion.

Hezbollah launched multiple attacks, firing around 65 rockets at Israel, including central Israel in the morning.

This included ten rockets launched from Lebanon at the Neot Mordechai area in the Galilee Panhandle, and a separate barrage of 30 rockets launched at the Upper and Western Galilee.

A 32-year-old man was lightly injured by glass shards and taken to a hospital. The Israeli military intercepted some rockets, and impacts were identified in the area.

Later, a drone infiltration warning sent approximately one million Israelis to bomb shelters for over an hour. The drone was launched from Lebanon and likely impacted an open area, although it hadn’t been located. The Israeli Air Force tracked the drone as it flew toward the Yokne’am area, but lost contact.

Sirens were activated in several towns, including Haifa, Krayot, Zichron Yaakov, and Harish, based on the predicted south-bound route of the drone. The incident ended after over an hour, according to the IDF Home Front Command.

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has resulted in significant losses on both sides.
