In a heartfelt and thought-provoking statement, a prominent Nigeria Muslim scholar, Dr. AbdulHakeem AbdulLateef, has shared his last wishes to his family and the Muslims at large.

Dr. AbdulLateef, known for his devotion to Allah, wrote in his will, “I pray for long life so I can serve Allah more. However, my greatest wish is that Allah takes my life when death is the best for me and keeps me alive only when being alive is the best for me. Aamin.”

Dr. AbdulLateef urged his brothers and sisters to spend their lives wisely, obeying Allah’s commandments, emphasizing that age is irrelevant when it comes to death. “No one is too young or too old to die before our Lord, Allah. The number of years you spend in this world is not what matters, but your ability to spend the few years you have in total obedience to the commandments of Allah.”

Dr. AbdulLateef’s courageous and faith-filled statement serves as a poignant reminder of life’s transience and the importance of devotion to Allah.
