Somali president convenes high-level meeting to boost anti-terrorism efforts
In a significant move to bolster national security, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia convened a high-level meeting with the National Armed Forces Command at the Ministry of Defence.
During the critical session, Major General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhuddin, Commander of the Somali National Army, and senior officers from various military branches presented updates on ongoing operations to eradicate terrorism across the country.

The Somalia government recently reported that approximately one hundred al-Shabaab members have surrendered across the South-Central states of Galmudug, Southwest, HirShabelle, and Jubaland.
