KSrelief dispatches 21 relief trucks meant for flood victims of Sudan

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched on Tuesday the departure of 21 relief trucks carrying 23,000 food baskets and 3,464 shelter bags to meet the urgent humanitarian needs of flood victims.

The trucks left the Sawakin Port in the Red Sea State of Sudan for the River Nile and Northern States of the country, affected by recent floods and torrents that resulted in heavy losses of lives and properties.

The launching ceremony was attended by the representative of the Saudi Embassy of Sudan, and the Sudanese representative of the Humanitarian Aid Commissioner and national partners.

This humanitarian initiative comes within the framework of the Saudi Relief Sea Bridge operated by the KSrelief to help the Sudanese people. This in implementation of the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman as an embodiment of the noble humanitarian role played by Saudi Arabia towards friendly countries.
