Four dead, 19 injured in multi-car pileup on Al Rayn-Bisha road
Four people were killed and 19 others injured in a horrific traffic accident involving 14 vehicles on the Al-Rayn-Bisha road during a heavy dust storm, according to Road Security in the Riyadh region.
Saudi Red Crescent ambulances transferred the injured to the emergency department at Al-Rayn General Hospital, where medical teams provided them with first aid.
The examinations showed a variety of injuries, including multiple fractures, internal bleeding, and minor injuries.
The hospital stated that four cases were transferred to King Saud Medical City and Al-Quway’iyah General Hospital for necessary treatment, seven cases were admitted to the hospital’s departments for medical follow-up, while eight cases were discharged after their health improved.
Al-Rayn General Hospital added that it mobilized all its resources to receive the injured and provide them with urgent care and necessary services to treat and monitor the cases to ensure their stability.
