Kuwait Crown Prince takes constitutional oath as Deputy Emir

The Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Seif Palace on Sunday the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, who took the constitutional oath as Deputy Emir.

During the ceremony, the Emir delivered a speech congratulating Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled on his appointment as Crown Prince. He wished him success in serving Kuwait and its people, and in advancing the nation’s development and progress.

In his response, the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled expressed gratitude to the Emir for nominating him as Crown Prince, voicing his great pride and deep appreciation for this significant honor. He vowed to serve the country and its people to the best of his abilities under the guidance of the Emir.

He also expressed his determination to fulfill the responsibilities set by the country’s leadership, wishing Kuwait and its people continuous progress and development.

The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and senior state officials.
