Saudi Arabia, Georgia establish coordination Council to deepen bilateral ties

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, welcomed his Georgian counterpart, Ilia Darchiashvili, to his office in Riyadh on Wednesday.

The high-level meeting focused on fortifying and broadening the bonds of friendship and mutual cooperation across various sectors, while also addressing key regional and international matters of shared concern.

During the productive discussions, Minister Prince Faisal and Minister Darchiashvili formalized their commitment to enhancing collaboration by signing a memorandum of understanding. The central initiative arising from this accord is the establishment of the Saudi-Georgian Coordination Council. This strategic platform is designed to facilitate and amplify cooperation between the two nations, aligning with the aspirations of their respective leaderships and citizenry.
