Speaking during the “A Comprehensive Urban Session,” Henry emphasized the Misk Foundation’s commitment to creating world-class educational institutions, underscoring the vital role of education as the cornerstone of global progress, particularly in the context of cognitive revolutions within smart cities.

Henry reiterated that the Crown Prince’s directive for the city to be smart and AI-driven is being actively pursued. The relocation of approximately 2,000 employees and enrollment of over 4,000 students are set to transform the city into a hub for learning, fostering a community of students and their families within its confines.

Highlighting the Misk Foundation’s multifaceted approach, Henry emphasized programs aimed at educating and cultivating the cultural development of children and youth. These initiatives encompass entrepreneurship, training, arts programs, and collaborations with the Ministry of Culture to establish culinary schools. Henry stressed the significance of comprehensive cultural education, extending admissions to students as young as five years old.

Addressing transportation within the city, Henry outlined plans for efficient bus and bicycle networks, aiming for a seamless 15-minute travel experience without the need for private vehicles. He also detailed the integration of the metro project, connecting the city with Qiddiya, and emphasized the city’s connectivity to neighboring areas via buses. Furthermore, Henry underscored the city’s potential to attract businesses from Riyadh, with a commitment to ensuring that all projects have branches in the city.

In terms of recreational amenities, Henry disclosed plans for sports fields, playgrounds, and programs designed to engage youth and provide an optimal environment for international visitors and global companies. Notably, he mentioned Princess Sarah bint Mashhour, the Crown Prince’s wife, spearheading a technology-driven project for children within the city—a testament to its commitment to innovation and modernity.
