Saudi Minister of Hajj, Umrah announces commencement of 1445 AH Hajj season operations
Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, has declared the initiation of operational activities for the 1445 AH Hajj season, effective immediately.
Al-Rabiah conveyed his gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, for generously supporting the third edition of the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition. The event concluded on Thursday after a four-day run, during which the minister expressed appreciation for the outstanding efforts of the ministry’s staff and all entities participating in the conference and exhibition.
The primary objective of the conference was to showcase Saudi Arabia’s distinctive projects tailored for the guests of Allah. Emphasizing the commitment to elevating the quality of services in Hajj and Umrah, the conference focused on facilitating the smooth arrival of pilgrims and Umrah performers from around the world. Notably, the event marked the introduction of new services and technologies aimed at enhancing the overall experience of the guests of Allah, aligning with the goals outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.
Furthermore, the conference served as a platform for the signing of multiple agreements covering various sectors, including housing, logistical services, healthcare, transportation, catering, technology, artificial intelligence, water, energy solutions, and more. These agreements signify a concerted effort to advance the infrastructure and support systems crucial for the successful execution of the pilgrimage and Umrah, showcasing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to excellence in serving the spiritual journey of millions.
