Saudi Arabia officially reopens embassy in Tripoli, Libya, strengthening diplomatic ties
Saudi Arabia has officially reopened its embassy in Tripoli, Libya. This pivotal move was met with gratitude from Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, the Prime Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government.
During a meeting chaired by Dbeibeh on Thursday, he extended his appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their role in reopening the Saudi embassy in Tripoli.
The meeting, which convened with Ahmed Al-Shehri, the acting Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, witnessed the presence of numerous ambassadors representing Arab, Islamic, and African nations accredited to Libya. Emphasizing the importance of fostering cooperative relations, the discussions covered a range of topics aimed at enhancing collaboration between Libya and its international counterparts. This diplomatic initiative marks a positive step towards strengthening ties and fostering regional stability.
