COVID-19: Saudi Arabia records 178 new cases, 1 death

Saudi Arabia has recorded 178 new COVID-19 cases.

According to a report on Sunday October 23, 2022, the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom has risen to 820,334.

“COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom had been fluctuating between the 60-mark and 200 during the past weeks,” the report says.

The country’s Ministry of Health confirmed that one person has died due to complications caused by the virus over the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of the virus-related fatalities to 9,393.

The ministry reported that a total of 154 people recovered over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 806,671.

Among the active cases 56 of them were in critical condition.
