OIC SG receives Mauritania ambassador to Saudi, reiterates commitment to bilateral relations
Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr Yousef Al-Othaimeen, has received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr Sidi Ali Ould Sidi.
While receiving the ambassador on Wednesday July 8, 2020, in his office, Al-Othaimeen stated that Ould Sidi visited him to present his credentials as Mauritania’s Permanent Representative to the OIC.
Dr Al-Othaimeen welcomed the Mauritanian Permanent Representative, wishing him success in his new role.
He reaffirmed the OIC’s commitment to promoting bilateral relations with Mauritania.
Mauritania recently received the third part of an emergency financial grant from the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development, of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) as a contribution to face off the fallouts of Novel Coronavirus.
