Covid-19: Confirmed cases total 15,102 in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has announced 1,172 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.
While disclosing this on Friday April 24, 2020, the country’s Ministry of Health stated that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country was 15,102.
According to the statement, “124 more patients have recovered while six more deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of recoveries and fatalities to 2,049 and 127 respectively so far in the country.”
Among the newly detected cases, 25 percent of them are of Saudi nationals while 75 percent of them are expatriates, according to the ministry’s spokesman, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali.
The spokesman added that 93 cases are in a critical condition and are in the intensive care unit.
Most number of the cases were reported from Madinah with 272 while Makkah and Jeddah registered 242 and 210 cases respectively.
