Saudi prince cautions Palestinians, calls for peace with Israel.
Prince Mohamed bin Salman (MBS) has cautioned Palestinians, seeking a peaceful relationship between the country and Israel.
The prince said this during a meeting with American Jewish organizations in New York.
“In the last several decades, the Palestinian leadership has missed one opportunity after the other and rejected all the peace proposals it was given,” he said.
“It is about time the Palestinians take the proposals and agree to come to the negotiations table or shut up and stop complaining,” he added.
The prince also said that the Palestinian issue was not a priority for the Saudi government, which “has much more urgent and important issues to deal with” like Iran.
He urged Israel and the Palestinians to make an advance towards peace talks in order to pave ways for Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries to normalize relations with Israel.
