Bronx, New York-In light of the increased senseless killings and violence in the city, especially in the Bronx, several grassroots organizations are coming together this Friday, June 3, 2016, 3:30-5:00PM at the corner of Grand Avenue and 183rd Street, to not only denounced these violence but to also call for elected officials and law enforcement agencies to provide necessary preventive resources to these violence.
Among the leaders at this planned rally are, clergy, community activists, teachers, parents, students and former gang members, who are all tired of witnessing this trend again.
Among the leading Community Based Organizations for this rally are, Adopt-A-Friend, Inc., I AM MY COMMUNITY, INC., C Ball, Inc, Community Peace Patrol officers, and others to be announced later. Thank you and God bless!
