3.9 million Saudis registered in employment market in 3Q

The Saudi employment market saw a registration of 3.9 million individuals, as reported by the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) and the Civil Service systems. Of this total, 60.1 percent were male employees, amounting to 2,357,785, while 39.9 percent were female employees, totaling 1,563,536.

Notably, 68.8 percent of the Saudi workforce falling under social insurance regulations comprised 2,696,797 individuals, with 1,641,761 being male and 1,055,036 female.

Analyzing data based on the Civil Service system and regulations, 31.2 percent of the total Saudi workforce, or 1,224,524 employees, was recorded. Among them, 716,024 were male, and 508,500 were female.

The breakdown of age groups revealed that the 30-43 age group had the highest representation at 17 percent, with 667,100 employees.

Following closely was the 35-39 age group, constituting 16.3 percent with 640,496 employees. Additionally, the 25-29 age group accounted for 16 percent (629,475 employees), and the 40-44 age group contributed 14.9 percent with 585,734 employees.
