HISTORIC SUMMIT IN NEW YORK CITY

New York City, NY- One of the closest neighborly heritage is that of Arabs and Jews in the holy land, and the closest religious believes to Islam is Judaism.  The two monotheistic religions with common believes are Judaism and Islam. Among the world’s most inseparable peoples historically, geographically, socially, religiously, and culturally are Arabs and Jews.

Furthermore, so much resources and goodwill have been spent in maintaining this divine bond by fearless, tireless and generous humanitarians from both sides (Arabs and Jews) despite formidable challenges they have faced since the beginning of the 20th Century. By extension, a tremendous interfaith bridge building have also taken place between Jews and Muslims worldwide during this time as well. However, the question of Israel in the Muslim world remains stubbornly divisive and unanswered.

Yet the formalization of the state of Israel in 1948 has shaken this unbreakable bond to its core and has been responsible for so much bloodshed, destruction, mortal animosity, and a paralyzing suspension of each other.

While the holy land is one of world’s tiniest habitats, an attempt to carve out independent national homelands for its peoples has undoubtedly been one of world’s costliest and most painful endeavors in this century.

Why is this the case? One may ask. This should have been one of the most celebrated milestones in the Middle Eastern history. One would easily think.

Well, against the backdrop of this reality, Muslim Media Corporation will be hosting its maiden peacebuilding summit in New York City to explore ways in which relations can be harmonized for mutual benefits of parties concerned, emotions aside.
