While we democratically transit from one administration to another (democratic, republican or Independence), and listen to almost identical lofty rhetoric, inspirational quotes, administrative ideology and the usual promises made to the poor and the middle class, the underline issues often persistently survived successive administrations.

This was indeed the reality of course until the administration of Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Under the leadership of Mayor Bloomberg, public safety, public health, quality of life, strong and independent leadership, generosity and honest politics were the norm.

It is against this back drop that Muslim Community Report Newspaper has chosen Honorable Michael Bloomberg as our person of the week.
