At least 15 Palestinians have been killed in two separate Israeli attacks on northern Gaza since dawn, according to Al Jazeera Arabic.

Among the casualties were two infants, including a 15-day-old baby, killed earlier in the Bureij refugee camp and Gaza City.

Since October, Israeli forces have launched an intensified ground and air offensive in northern Gaza, targeting residential areas, schools, hospitals, and shelters for the war-displaced.

Hundreds of thousands were ordered to evacuate, while those who remained endured relentless strikes from troops and drones.

The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate as Israel prevents the entry of food, water, and medicine into the besieged enclave. Hunger and deprivation have become widespread. Displaced residents, such as those in central Deir el-Balah, are forced to wait in long queues outside soup kitchens for basic meals.

“The prices are very high in the market, and there’s a shortage of flour. I have been coming to this charity for more than eight months,” said Ayman Zayed, a displaced Palestinian. “They help us with 90 percent of our needs. Without it, one would not know what to do.”

Um Omar Al Bayari, displaced from northern Beit Hanoon, described the worsening hunger crisis, adding to the distress of the displaced population.

Meanwhile, the United Nations’ humanitarian agency (OCHA) has warned of the grave challenges faced by aid workers due to Israeli attacks and the breakdown of law and order. Restrictions on aid delivery have nearly paralyzed relief efforts, exacerbating the suffering in Gaza.

So far, Israel’s rampaging genocidal attacks in Gaza have killed at least 45,885 Palestinians and injured 109,196 since October 7, 2023.

At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks that day, and more than 200 were taken hostage.
