Top Middle East airline announces resumption of flights to Damascus

Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of three weekly flights to Damascus, Syria, starting January 7, marking a significant milestone in regional reconnection.

The airline said that it is collaborating with relevant authorities to ensure that all safety, security, and operational standards are met ahead of the relaunch.

“We are pleased to resume flights to Damascus, a destination of great historical and cultural importance,” said Badr Mohammed al-Meer, Qatar Airways Group CEO.
