At least 47 Palestinians have been killed in the latest Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll since last year to a staggering 44,429, according to the Health Ministry in Gaza.
The ministry also reported that approximately 105,250 people have been injured during the ongoing hostilities.
A statement from the ministry highlighted the intensity of recent strikes: “Israeli forces killed 47 people and injured 108 others in six massacres of families in the last 24 hours.” The statement added that many victims remain trapped under rubble and on inaccessible roads, as rescue efforts are hindered by ongoing bombardments and a lack of resources.
Israel’s intensified military campaign on Gaza has drawn sharp international condemnation. Critics have described the attacks and blockade on humanitarian aid as an orchestrated effort to annihilate the population.
On November 21, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Additionally, Israel is under scrutiny at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), where it faces a genocide case related to its actions in the region.
The escalating violence has heightened calls from global leaders and institutions for accountability and an immediate cessation of hostilities.
