Israeli drones strike paramedics in southern Lebanon
In a tragic escalation of violence, Israeli drones targeted paramedics in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon on Saturday, killing two and injuring four others.
According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, the incident occurred as a rescue team headed to the town of Ain Baal to perform emergency duties.
The ministry reported that the initial team was struck by an Israeli drone, prompting a second team to rush to their aid. However, the team was also targeted, resulting in casualties among both groups.

While reacting, the ministry denounced the attacks and called on the international community to adopt “a firm stance against the Israeli army’s violation of international laws and its disregard for any deterrent measures.”
These attacks come amid ongoing cross-border hostilities between Israel and Lebanon. Since late September, Tel Aviv has intensified its air campaign, claiming to target Hezbollah positions. The conflict expanded further on October 1, when Israel launched a ground offensive into southern Lebanon.
Lebanese health authorities report that Israeli attacks have claimed more than 3,600 lives, injured over 15,300, and displaced more than 1 million people since last October. The humanitarian toll continues to rise, with calls for accountability growing louder.
