Israeli airstrikes in Gaza on Thursday night claimed the lives of at least seven Palestinians, including two civilians, and left several others wounded as the 14-month-long conflict intensified.

The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, quoted local sources’ report that an airstrike in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, targeted the home of the Al-Daya family.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene to rescue those trapped under the rubble, with fears that more victims remain buried.

Meanwhile, the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza was hit by Israeli drone strikes, injuring several medical staff members, some critically.

The attack also damaged the hospital’s sole power generator, vital for operations, leaving the facility crippled amid the ongoing blockade that prevents repairs.

In the Jabalia refugee camp, Israeli drones fired on residential areas, although no casualties have yet been reported. In the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, an airstrike killed five members of the Al-Hour family and injured others.

In southern Gaza, homes near Rafah were demolished by Israeli forces, exacerbating the region’s destruction and displacement.

Since October 2023, Israeli attacks on Gaza have caused at least 44,056 documented Palestinian deaths and over 104,268 injuries. Thousands remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible due to continued bombardment.

Despite international outcry, including UN Security Council calls for an immediate ceasefire and International Court of Justice directives to prevent genocide, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza deepens.
