Hezbollah confirms death of four media officials in Israeli strike on Beirut
Hezbollah has announced the deaths of four of its media officials in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut that also killed its spokesperson, Mohammad Afif.
The officials—Musa Haidar, Mahmoud al-Sharqawi, Hilal Termos, and Hussein Ramadan—were targeted during escalating hostilities between Israel and the militant group.
In a statement shared on Telegram, Hezbollah praised the four as “soldiers in the media field” who courageously worked to expose “the truth of Zionist terrorism.”
The group described their dedication to the cause of resistance as unwavering, stating, “They were supportive and steadfast with their leader, to confirm that resistance is an eternal thought, cause, and message, unknown on earth, known in heaven.”
The strike is part of an intensified Israeli campaign targeting Hezbollah strongholds in Lebanon as cross-border tensions continue to escalate.
Since late September, Israel has expanded its operations beyond Gaza, vowing to counter Hezbollah’s actions in support of its ally, Hamas.
The deaths of Afif and the media officials mark a significant blow to Hezbollah’s leadership and media machinery amid ongoing violence that has already claimed thousands of lives on both sides.
