An unidentified drone entered Jordanian airspace and crashed in a remote area of Souf, Jerash, approximately 45 kilometers north of Amman, after violating the Jordanian airspace.

According to an official source from the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF), the incident occurred on Thursday.

The crash resulted in a fire, which was promptly extinguished by the Civil Defence Department. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

A military engineering team was dispatched to the site to ensure the area was clear of explosives and pose no risk to citizens or property.

The JAF official urged citizens to exercise caution and report any similar incidents to authorities, rather than approaching or gathering around crashed objects. The precaution is essential due to potential risks, particularly given the current regional circumstances.
