As the war in Gaza rages on , at least 43,163 Palestinians have been killed since Israel’s military offensive began on October 7, 2023, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

The devastating conflict, now in its second year, has also left 101,510 people wounded.

In just the past 24 hours, the situation has further deteriorated, with 102 Palestinians killed and 287 injured, the ministry reported.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned what it has called “the continued violent campaign” against the UN and its personnel, including the special human rights rapporteur on occupied territories.

“Israel’s 76-year campaign to dismantle the United Nations, undermine its promise, and delegitimize its purpose, is aimed at destroying any obstacle in its plan to exterminate the Palestinian people, to forcibly displace them and replace them, and to implement its supremacist and colonial plans,” it said.

The ministry stressed that Israel is a “serial violator of the UN Charter and does not belong to the community of nations” as it keeps trying to distract the global community from the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
