Leaked document exposes move by Israel to invade Iran
Reports emanating from the United States say officials have commenced probes into the leak of classified documents that expose Israel’s plans to attack Iran, according to the Associated Press news agency.
The leaked documents, attributed to the U.S. Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency, were posted on the Telegram messaging app on Friday.
Axios, the news site that initially reported the leak, stated that the release of the sensitive material coincides with Israel completing weeks of preparation for a planned strike on Iran, following an Iranian missile barrage directed at Israel on October 1.

The report added that the documents detail measures taken in recent days at several Israeli air force bases, including the transfer of advanced munitions in preparation for a forthcoming Iran attack.
Recall that in a dramatic escalation of hostilities, Iran unleashed a barrage of nearly 200 missiles toward Tel Aviv on Tuesday, prompting Israel to pledge swift retaliation.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) boasted that 90% of the missiles successfully struck their intended targets, but Israel’s defense systems intercepted most, with some landing in central and southern Israel.
The latest flare-up follows Israel’s ground invasion in southern Lebanon aimed at countering the threat posed by Hezbollah. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to hit back. “Iran made a big mistake tonight – and it will pay for it,”
